Caravan - Loose Tea
Brewing Instructions: 195 Degrees for 3-5 minutes
Notes: As Chinese and Russian merchants traded along the Siberian trade route in the seventeenth century, the nightly campfires caused the tea they were carrying to acquire a rich and smoky taste. Likewise, campfire smoke was a constant for the explorers and pioneers of Early America and permeated all of their belongings, to include the tea they brought with them. Oliver Pluff's Caravan Blend re-imagines the traditional tea with an eye to those early settlers' experience.
Tasting Notes: A black tea blend has a beautiful deep copper color a strong blend with a classic rich body, and a smoky taste.
