Eucalyptus: Eucalyptus derives from the eucalyptus plant that is native to the country of Australia. The oil is created by pressing the leaves of the plant which release the fragrant oil. It is thought that eucalyptus oil can provide several health benefits such as decongestion, antimicrobial properties, antiseptic properties, and decrease inflammation. However, additional investigation is needed to determine the efficacy of these products. As with other essential oils, eucalyptus is most often use to provide an aromatherapy ambiance in a variety of atmospheres.
