May: Mental Health Awareness Month

May: Mental Health Awareness Month

The past year has been very taxing and nerve racking for many of us. Mental health issues have been compounded by the pandemic that the world faces. It's during these trials and tribulations that we must look out for one another. We may not always be aware of a person's sufferings, but we do have the ability to check in on one another. Showing compassion and listening doesn't cost anything. So this week we challenge everyone to show love and compassion towards one another. Take some time to be mindful and understanding that being diagnosed with mental illness is alright and should never be stigmatized.
